Restaurant Reviews

Have been here twice now and both the food and service is excellent. They cater very well for a Gluten Free diet.

So many restaurants to choose from in Chester. rather exhausted by the choice we finally stumbled across this fantastic restaurant. Delicious meals, great atmosphere at reasonable prices - though I agree the wine is a little on the pricey side! Would recommend this place and will go again!

We decided on a spur of the moment to "go local" for a meal and plumped for Chez Gerard. Greeted by friendly and attentive staff we considered the food was good value and fairly wide ranging choices. Will recommend to friends and plan to revisit. Wine is thought to be pricey.

We went just before Christmas in a small group. Food was very good and the staff were very efficient and friendly. Veggie selection was different to the usual boring offer. I had a Couscous dish which was really tasty.

We stumbled across Brasserie Chez Gerard on its opening evening. Overall experience was very good, although we did feel the wine was pricey - good French wines can be obtained for reasonable prices and should be included to give customers a broader choice. We will certainly revisit and hope that the standards are maintained.
