Customer Reviews We haven't lived in chester for 8 years so decided to take a chance on Joseph Benjamin. What great food and charming service, so much better than the usual "chain" restaurants. This is an outstanding restaurant/cafe/deli. The owner has great skill in selecting excellent ingredients. The food is simple and tastes fantastic. We came to Chester for the weekend and were lucky enough to discover 'Joseph Benjamin' straight away - we returned for two evening meals and a breakfast! Relaxed, unpretentious and friendly. May 2007 / 5 Stars, Excellent, Recommend.

My husband and I visited Chester for the weekend and booked in for Saturday evening. The food was excellent and cooked to perfection and tastefully presented. A lovely ambience is created during an evening down stairs away from the deli counter. Thank you for a lovely evening!
