La Taverna La Taverna
52-54 Lower Bridge Street, Chester CH1 1RU Tel. 01244 350625 A past winner 'Best Newcomer' at the Chester Food & Drink Festival. La Taverna is located in Lower Bridge Street, an old house which was originally owned by Sir Francis Gamull, Mayor of Chester in 1645. King Charles I also stayed here during the Siege of Chester in the English Civil War. The Jacobean interior makes for a great dining room atmosphere with a high ceiling and huge fire surround. The food is still fit for a king and meets the splendour of this venue, well worth a visit! What's your rating for La Taverna?

Fantastic seasonal food with the menu changing daily. Love the atmosphere and the fixed price deals are really reasonable
