Moules a go go is a modern, stylish restaurant located on the historic Watergate Rows of Chester. Moules a go-go serve excellent food and have a varied menu and also a good vegetarian selection. You can view the kitchens and how busy the chefs work to prepare your meal. They often have a 'beat the clock' offer menu which is great value if you arrive early between 6pm and 7pm Mon-Fri. Moules can get quite busy so book ahead.

I have eaten at Moules a go go many times and have never been disappointed. The beat the clock menu from 6-7 is fantastic value for money. If you have a little more in you pocket its definitely worth going for the a la carte though- try the camembert share starter! Never had a service charge automatically added to the bill as mentioned above- maybe this is for bigger parties? Excellent!

Ate their twice during July and was not disappointed with the mussels I had on both occasions. The 'frites' could do with being more like you get in Brittany which are longer and thinner and easier to dunk into the mayo. Desert menu could do with a few additional items. Sometimes just a bit of cake would suffice after a meal rather than the more fanciful offerings available. These are minor points as I would recommend it as a fine place to eat.

I have eaten here many times and never been disappointed. The quality and price is excellent. Only downside here is a service charge being automatically added to the bill, sorry, but tipping is my choice not yours! however the food is consistently great.
