I've never heard of the restaurant before, this was our first time, the fillet steak was excellent and the views were also splendid. We are meat producers, so we know what is good and I must say the steaks are of the best quality.

The Red House has superb views and is very stylish. Food was good but the white wine not cold enough. Mixed up our orders which considering there wasn't many people in the restaurant at the time seems a bit lapsadaisy! The male person who dealt with our table was an obnoxious thing and had a case of the "pretty woman syndrome" looks at you and judges whether you are good enough to be there! I was looking to book a corporate do there and due to his mannerisms we have gone elsewhere. He seemed to be the restaurant manager but has yet to learn social skills for this job!

Food was excellent, the chips were the best ever!!, steak was cooked to my liking, wasn't as expensive as I thought it would be. Service could be improved but it was a Saturday night, and it was very busy.

I have been many times now for coffee, lunch, and dinner, and I've not had a bad experience yet. Decor, food, service - all excellent, and the location overlooking the Dee is superb.

The Red House is an excellent choice for locals and visitors who want to experience good food and superb views in quality surroundings. We had heard mixed reports about the Red House but having dined there on several occasions we would recommend it to others.
