Customer Reviews Have visited this restaurant twice when they have special offers on to give it a try. The Sunday Roast was one of the best we have had and we will definitely go again for this. The evening 2 for 1 special midweek was really tasty but very small portions. It is however a good way to see if you like the restaurant before booking a special occasion at the busy weekends. And we will do so. The staff were absolutely superb and clearly enjoy working there. The only critism I have is that the house red wine was not good and overpriced. Remember to ask where the "secret bell" when you book or you may find you can't get anyone to answer the door!! Aug 2007 / 5 Stars - Excellent
I had the most amazing evening here with my family. All the staff were amazingly friendly and could answer any question we had about both the food and drinks menu. On choosing a wine our waiter/barman actually recommended a cheaper version because it would go better with our main course and indeed he was right. It was perfect. The food was difficult to fault and the portion sizes were extremely generous. I'd definitely go back on another special occasion. We all had a great time and were made to feel so welcome and relaxed. 5 star. Aug 2007 / 5 Stars

Went there on the off chance - wine waiter had an extensive knowledge of wine. Waiters were all very friendly and food was excellent. Great night.
