Upstairs At The Grill

As a Cestrian I know that this is by far the best restaurant in Chester (dare I say it in the north west!). The setting, exclusivity and ambiance is perfect. The food is of a very high quality and staff must have been carefully picked as they seem to have a superior knowledge in their field of work. I do a lot of entertaining and Upstairs @ The Grill never fails to impress. This restaurant is exclusive so book a table with plenty of notice. But be sure to leave one for me : )

Have visited this restaurant twice when they have special offers on to give it a try. The Sunday Roast was one of the best we have had and we will definitely go again for this. The evening 2 for 1 special midweek was really tasty but very small portions. It is however a good way to see if you like the restaurant before booking a special occasion at the busy weekends. And we will do so. The staff were absolutely superb and clearly enjoy working there. The only criticism I have is that the house red wine was not good and overpriced. Remember to ask where the "secret bell" when you book or you may find you can't get anyone to answer the door!!
