Fiona Bruce is the new host of Antiques Roadshow, and will be visiting Chester Cathedral for her first show. The programme will be shown on BBC1 later in 2008.

Sandbach Transport Festival Extravaganza
19th & 20th April 2008
We are holding an Extravaganza. A 2 day festival incorporating a carnival on the Saturday and the usual transport parade on the Sunday. On the Saturday we have a carnival parade, a hovercraft display, a staged RTA involving all the emergency services, football skills, a Landrover display, marching bands, fire cadet display, ATC cadet display, truck pull competition, Suberu Rally Car, clowns circus workshop, morris dancers, live music, a crown bowling competition, Cheshire Police Band, a climbing wall, a garden festival in the park, and art exhibition, kids funfair, hog roast, fire station open day, london bus rides, market stalls, craft stalls & charity stalls. During the weekend we are raising funds for Caudwell Children and also a wealth of other charities.
