5 day summer course for children aged 7-16 to either try for the first time or continue to enjoy the magic of the theatre.
Monday 1st August to Friday 5th 10am-4pm with a performance on the Friday evening.

This is a exciting and unique workshop for children and young people of all abilities the emphasis is on self-expression, enjoyment and fun!
Run by Darren Johnson, director of pocket panto along with Rebecca Little and Jeremy Stroughair. All three are well established professional actors and teachers in Drama, Dance and expressive arts. Throughout the week the young people will be singing, dancing,acting but most importantly playing to their own strengths and working to their own performance at the end of the week.

Panto 'Aladdin' By Pocket Panto

Fun filled show for all the family! The aim of Pocket Panto is to produce a small scale traditional family pantomime with large scale production values and take it out into the local community to venues such as schools, libraries, pubs, clubs and community centres. These performances will not only be at the traditional Christmas period but will be throughout the year. (Try telling a five to eleven year old it’s too early for panto!) Using a cast of three talented professional actors, Pocket Panto will bring the whole pantomime experience to each venue. With live singing, dancing, slapstick, audience participation and with the emphasis very much on family entertainment, there truly will be something for everyone.
