Chester Literature Festival 2007

Throughout October 2007 - various locations in Chester. This years Literature Festival will bring an exciting mixture of celebrity visitors and local events. The city will be alive with star names from literature, theatre, politics and journalism, science and sport, alongside events for children and showcases for local writers.

Ghost Walks

Ghost Walks in Chester on Halloween.

Every Thursday, Friday & Saturday nights. Tickets can be purchased from Chester Town Hall Tourist Information Centre or Chester Visitor Centre near the Roman Amphitheatre. Tickets are also available on the night.

A Special Halloween tour is available on 31st October.  It is recommended to buy tickets in advance.

- Due to demand there are Ghost Walks also Tuesday 30th October!

Prom Praise
Saturday 6th October 2007, 7pm

A spectacular event at Chester Cathedral. Entertainers include The Chester Ladies Choir, Chester Primary Schools Choir, Chester Male Voice Choir, Farndon Brass Band, A Handbag of Harmonies, The University Trumpeters and Chester Cathedral Choir. Wave your flags and raise the roof with 'Rule Britannia' and 'Land of Hope and Glory'.
