Save The Family On Mothers Day

If you’re planning to treat mum, Chester’s award-winning restaurant Moules a Go-Go has a fantastic menu in store this Mothers’ Day and will be donating £5 for every mum served on Sunday 14th March to Chester and North Wales charity Save the Family.

Said General Manager Barry Rawlinson: “Mothers’ Day is all about celebrating family, so we hope that our customers will feel good for treating mum and helping out a great local charity that supports less fortunate families at the same time.”

Said Angella Rawsthorne of Save the Family: “We’re delighted that Moules a Go-Go has volunteered to support us this Mothers’ Day. Save the Family is all about keeping homeless families together to prevent children being taken into care, and we are the only charity that houses, retrains and gives whole families the necessary emotional and practical support to help them move on. We are currently fundraising to build a new centre near Chester, so local support is really important to us.”

The tempting Mothers’ Day menu at Moules offers three courses for £18.95 (children’s menu £3.95) and is served on 14th March from 12.00 noon till 9.00pm. A selection of tasty starters is followed by a mouth-watering main course choice including traditional roast or local flame-roasted chicken, rib eye steak, seafood or chicken pasta dishes and sea bass. Desserts (always important to mum) include sticky toffee pudding, rich chocolate torte or Belgian waffle served with white chocolate, raspberry and Oreo ice cream.
