Chester Cross

Chester Cross

This photo was taken in the centre of Chester at the junction of Bridge Street and Eastgate Street at Chester Cross. The building shown is No.1 Bridge Street, designed by Thomas Lockwood, built in 1888. The black and white revival style of architecture is typical of Chester. It has been designated by English Heritage as a Grade II* listed building. Today 'Waltons the Jewellers' occupy the street level shops.
