Officially opened on 15th October 1869 by the Prince of Wales, accompanied by the Prime Minister W. E. Gladstone. Chester Visitor Centre (Tourist Information) is located here, where you can pickup city maps & guides, latest attraction leaflets, buy tickets and ask for advice.
