This popular pub is on the rows, up the steps next to the Medieval Stone Cross in the centre of Chester. Built over part of the original Roman Headquarters of the city (principia). It originally became a pub in 1269, only becoming 'The Victoria' a century ago. The cellar is built above St. Peters Church crypt. - Chester Cross Interactive Movie.
