Spring Plant Hunters' Fair At Ness Botanic Garden

The spring plant fair at Ness Botanic Gardens has always been a great opener for the gardening season and for 2020 there is a wonderful line up of 15 top nurseries attending including RHS Gold Medal Winners offering a tremendous variety of plants.
The mix of nurseries ensures there's something for every type of garden; little gems to tempt the most discerning plants person and lots of help and advice for the new or less experienced gardener At this time of year, nurseries will come laden with flowering bulbs, early flowering perennials, shrubs and trees to provide instant colour and also lots of later flowering plants to get planted for colour into the summer and beyond. Spring Plant Hunters' Fair At Bramall Hall

On Sunday 5th April Bramall Hall will be hosting a great plant fair bringing you some of the country's most highly respected specialist nurseries including RHS medallists each with a brilliant range of plants.
The Plant Fair is a fund-raising event for special projects at the hall and has proved hugely popular, rapidly gaining a reputation as the best specialist plant fair in the area offering a dazzling array of plants all for just £2.00 entry to the fair. The nurseries will be more than happy to give you the benefit of their experience in how to plant and care for the plants you buy so you can get the best from them.
There is free entry to the 70-acre parkland. Bramall Hall is one of Cheshire's most historic houses with surrounding parkland in the style of Capability Brown.
The plant fair runs from 10am-4pm on Sunday 5th April. Dogs on leads welcome. Refreshments available.

Easter Plant Fair At The Dorothy Clive Garden

This Easter Sunday and Monday the wonderful Dorothy Clive Gardens are opening their gates for what has become one of the best-loved garden events in the region. This event offers better than half price entry to the gardens and a brilliant Plant Hunters' Fair at just £4.00 (normally, standard garden entry is £8.50). The plant fair boasts 20 top-class nurseries, including RHS Medal Winners and National Collection Holders offering a tremendous variety of plants coming from all corners of the country including National Collection Holders, Roseland House Clematis and Climbers from Cornwall; woodland plant specialists Edrom Nursery from Berwickshire; award-winning alpine nursery Pottertons from Lincolnshire; rare woody edibles and other hard to find trees and shrubs from Jurassic Plants and gold medal winning specialists Hall Farm Nursery and Chris Cooke Plants. Plus, many more wonderful specialist nurseries with every sort of plant. Also, don't miss our two artisan stalls, Aluminium Art for your garden and iron plant supports from Staffordshire's, Artisan Plant Supports, all hand-made using traditional methods.
The Plant Hunters' Fair is situated in the heart of this most charming and beautiful 12-acre garden famed for its dazzling spring display of rhododendrons and azaleas with massed drifts of bulbs. Explore the gardens, sit and relax in the many seating areas, and enjoy the tearoom's home baking on the terrace lawn, whilst enjoying the lovely views of the surrounding countryside. This event now in its twelfth year is a special fund-raising event for the Willoughbridge Garden Charitable Trust who maintain these wonderful gardens. The garden offers a great special event price on these days only of just £4.00 for garden and plant fair entry (normally, standard garden entry is £8.50).
The plant fair takes place on Sunday 12th and Monday 13th April and runs from 10am - 5pm both days. Dogs on leads welcome. Refreshments available. The garden is on the A51, 4 miles south of Bridgemere.

Spring Plant Hunters Fair At Cholmondeley Castle

Plant Hunters' Fair at the wonderful Cholmondeley Castle Gardens with a special reduced entry on the day for the gardens and plant fair of just £4.00 (gardens normally £8.50). Plants will be at the heart of the event and there will be a brilliant line up of nineteen nurseries attending each with something new, different and unusual to delight plant lovers of every level of experience and the nurseries will be more than happy to give you the benefit of their experience in how to plant and care for the plants you buy so you can get the best from them.
Cholmondeley Castle Gardens is said by many to be among the most romantically beautiful gardens they have seen. The Gothic revival castle - a product of the early 19th century - stands on a high rise above a lake and is surrounded by sweeping lawns and a variety of mature trees. The gardens surrounding the castle provide a lovely mix of colour and height, will have a stunning display from the drifts of bulbs and flowering shrubs.
The Plant Fair runs from 10.00am- 5.00pm on Sunday 26th April. Dogs on leads welcome.
The plant fair is handily placed right next to the tearooms serving coffee, light lunches, homemade teas, ice creams and snacks.
